Happy #MajorMonday! This week we’re spotlighting foods and nutrition! 🥦 

If you’re interested in dietetics, food service management, or the food industry, this program prepares you with the scientific and practical skills needed for a wide range of careers in health and nutrition.

Students build a strong foundation in nutrition, food science, and food management, supported by coursework in biology, chemistry, physiology, and behavioral sciences. The curriculum explores nutrient metabolism, diet therapy, food safety, community nutrition, and food service operations. All majors take part in a preapproved international experience, gaining valuable insight into global health challenges and cross-cultural issues. You’ll also develop transferable skills like research, leadership, technical writing, and public speaking.

Graduates are prepared for dietetic internships, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership, and careers in healthcare, research, public service, food industries, and more. They also gain valuable connections through organizations like Scripps Health, Sodexo, and the Student Nutrition Organization.
