Last week, seniors Jess Perry and Eli Adams represented UConn Women’s Volleyball at the UConn Sports & Human Rights Summit, engaging in conversations on justice, equity, and the power of sport beyond competition.

They had the opportunity to learn from and meet notable human rights advocates including Tommie Smith, John Carlos, and Paralympian Danelle Umstead — voices who continue to shape the role of athletes in social change.
