The eighth and ninth Canadians to enter the HHOF when they’re inducted next month, Jennifer Botterill and Danièle Sauvageau took very different paths to hockey immortality. Botterill was a two-time #WomensWorlds MVP who posted 174 points (65-109—174) in 184 games to sit seventh in all-time Team Canada scoring, while Sauvageau – the first woman to be inducted as a builder – coached Canada to world titles in 1999 and 2001, and the historic first-ever Olympic gold in 2002. 🇨🇦

Jennifer Botterill et Danièle Sauvageau, qui deviendront le mois prochain les huitième et neuvième Canadiennes à être admises au Temple de la renommée du hockey, ont emprunté des chemins bien différents pour faire leur place parmi les personnes immortelles de ce sport. Botterill a été nommée deux fois Joueuse par excellence du #MondialFéminin. Au fil de ses participations à ce tournoi, elle a accumulé 174 points (65-109—174) en 184 parties, ce qui la place au septième rang des meilleures pointeuses de l’histoire d’Équipe Canada.
