As the keynote speaker at the APEC CEO Summit, RM (rkive) compared K-pop to bibimbap, one of Korea’s most iconic dishes.

He pointed out that just like bibimbap — where ingredients with unique flavors come together to create something completely new — K-pop blends different identities and genres in perfect harmony.

It was such a clever way to explain how K-pop, even as its own genre today, still thrives on the mix of diverse musical styles within it! 🎶

APEC CEO Summit 기조 연설자로 나선 RM이 KPOP을 한국의 대표음식 비빔밥에 비유했습니다. 

각각의 정체성을 지닌 재료들을 조화롭게 섞어 전혀 새로운 아이덴티티를 만들어내는 비빔밥처럼 KPOP 도 그러한 유사성을 가지고 있다는 점에 주목한 것인데요! 

요즘은 K-Pop이 하나의 장르화가 되었지만, 그 안에는 서로 다른 음악장르들이 조화롭게 모여있다는 점을 아주 재치있게 설명해냈네요!
