Is there a difference between 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 and 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨?

𝗘𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻 exists in the register of 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 that is an embodied experience fostering individuals’ direct connection with the object—as compared to 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 that is culturally didacticised—says artists Vong Phaophanit and Claire Oboussier.

Learn more about how the installation opens up a threshold and space where the practice of 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 takes over from that of 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨. 

Building off such a notion, participants of the 𝟮𝟰-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 will have an opportunity to converse with the artists on different intertextual possibilities inlaid within and beyond 𝗘𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻 and their practice.
