OOTD for today’s Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Campaign event💗Most importantly I hope you take the time to read the below: 

Did you know that Latina and Black women are at a higher risk to not only get breast cancer but also to be diagnosed at a later stage. And it doesn’t have to be that way, which is why esteelauder continues to advocate, research and educate. 

After listening to this thought provoking discussion this morning, I want to remind you to advocate for your breasts. If you feel something, see your doctor. Not sure I’ve ever shared but I’ve had 2 mammograms in the past 3 or 4 years. The first, I felt a lump. Thankfully it was nothing. The second I was feeling pain. Once again, thankfully it was nothing and probably hormonal. But I immediately made an appt and got it checked out. 

My point is… Advocate for yourself and speak up. You have to communicate concerns to your doctors and if they say “don’t worry, you’re too young” get a new Doctor. 

I hope this post serves as a reminder to get check and trust your gut💗 #TimeToEndBreastCancer
