Yesterday I was thinking to myself how incredibly hard it is for some people to be happy for other people. That they will sit there and bash, tease, bully, gossip, and are happier when you are failing. I don’t know about you but I have never had to water myself down or unscrew another’s lightbulb to shine on my own. Neither do you, sister. You are called to be more. You are chosen and set apart. Not a single person on this Earth gets to tell you otherwise or take that away from you. Cheer for others. Supporting others will in no means slow you down or take away from your own goals. We need to be better about truly rooting for our peers. We need to be lifting, speaking life into one another. I’m talking Proverbs 31 women. I’m not interested in the gossip, the hatefulness, the teasing. I’m interested in sharpening my friends and the people around me. IRON SHARPENS IRON.
