Auditions for the 2026–2027 Pre-Professional Trainee Program school year are now open!

Our Trainee Program, open to dancers ages 13–25, provides a comprehensive pathway for those pursuing a future in professional dance.

With two distinct tracks — Ballet or Jazz & Contemporary — dancers receive elite technical instruction while developing the versatility needed in today’s evolving dance industry. Unlike many programs that specialize in a single discipline, the Joffrey Ballet School champions cross-training, preparing dancers to thrive in diverse professional environments.

Program pathways include:
☑️ Conservatory Program – for high school students
☑️ Certificate Program – for high school graduates
☑️ BFA Degree Pathway – earn your Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Akron

Fridays at Joffrey Ballet School, Manhattan, NYC
