Jeff Bridges argues #TronAres isn't a flop, it's suffering from an emphasis on opening weekends and knee-jerk reactions. 

“As the Dude would say, ‘That’s just like your opinion, man,'” Bridges quips.

The Oscar-winner has been a part of "Tron" from the jump, starring as Kevin Flynn in the 1982 original, a role he reprised in 2010's "Tron: Legacy" and again in "Ares."

“I remember ‘Heaven’s Gate’ was considered, you know, very disappointing or a flop," he points out. "But nowadays it’s considered kind of a masterpiece.”
