I was born in the summer of my 22nd year…

Just like that, I’ve seen Mont Blanc and achieved a lifelong dream. Besides that, I never dreamt about France. I knew nothing of the culture, and still can’t speak the language. Yet for a few hours, up above it all in the mountains, I felt like I was home. 

As I saw people scaling cliff faces and gliding thousands of feet over the valley below, I couldn’t help but get emotional. Even when you don’t know where it will take you, life is all about taking that leap.
