Former #Houston restaurateur Lyndell #Lynn Price, co‑founder of the once‑popular #TurkeyLegHut, has been hit with three additional federal charges: one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.⁠

According to the new indictment from a federal grand jury, Price is accused of having firearms during the years 2019 to 2022 while allegedly selling marijuana, though no drug‑trafficking charge has yet been filed in that regard. The documents further allege that in 2022 and 2023, he possessed shotguns, one being a DP‑12 and another a 12‑gauge shotgun modified with a flamethrower attachment.⁠

Price, who previously pleaded guilty to federal tax‑fraud charges and served more than two years in prison, is barred under federal law from firearm possession.
