The RFU has unveiled a transformed competition format and bold new identity for the second tier of English rugby, ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Now rebranded as Champ Rugby, the league will feature 14 teams, including Worcester Warriors and the 2024-25 National 1 champions, Richmond. The new format is designed to enhance player development, strengthen club sustainability, and deliver a more competitive and compelling season.
