One of UCSC’s sustainability goals is to increase waste diversion from landfills by 90%, and that effort includes you!! We’re a little more than halfway to our goal so, here’s a little PSA on proper waste disposal!! 🚮

Here at UCSC, we lead in sustainability initiatives, action plans, and accomplishments! As of 2025, UCSC is ranked No. 28 by Princeton Review’s Guide to Greenest Schools! 🍃

UCSC is also one of nearly 30 institutions of higher education around the nation to have adopted the Okanagan Charter, centering campus community health and well-bring through belonging, resilience, and sustainability! 🤝
