mattlewisfilm used the DJI Ronin 4D to follow Jade (Fatima Bojang) as she walked toward a traffic light a moment that visually tells the end of the school day.

What the audience doesn’t see is the complex choreography behind the shot. Just before Jade steps into the street, the crew mounted the Ronin 4D onto a drone, which then flew approximately 0.3 miles to the nearby murder scene.

The same team that launched the drone jumped into a vehicle and raced to the destination, where, mattlewisfilm, baaz.cole and grips  blash.tattoo and benjakandhisgrippack caught the flying rig mid-air seamlessly and jamesdavisaco operated the camera remotely throughout the sequence continuing the sequence with a close-up of Graham’s grieving father, Eddie.
