👏 ANDREWS SPORTS MED INKS DEAL AT BROOKWOOD VILLAGE: The former Belk department store at Brookwood Village has been subleased to andrews_sports_medicine. This is another step toward adding some new life back to the vacated former mall. 

💰The purchase was $16M, according to records from Jefferson County + took place between FPL Brookwood + HPIV Birmingham, LLC.

Timeline:
👉 NOV 2024: Andrews Sports Medicine announced their intention to transform the space into a roughly 135,000-sq.ft. medicine + orthopedic center.
👉 DEC 2024: 57-acre Brookwood Village lost its final business when Five Guys closed. 
👉 MAY 2025: The Homewood City Council unanimously approved the plan
