## Caption

For a limited time only: spring wildflowers! These are just a few of the ones we've spotted at Shaver's Creek so far.

Many spring wildflowers are known as ephemerals for how quickly they bloom and then disappear again - some lasting just a few days. These fleeting flowers have evolved to take advantage of early spring sunlight and moisture before the trees leaf out for the summer.

See if you can spot any on your next visit to Shaver's Creek! 🌸
