pre surgery prep: they put a little screw thing in me 🥹 the emotional challenge has been ….🥹 I feel like I was so beyond-words sick before, I could only focus on the physical, and while I’m looking calm-ish here (for me) that’s definitely just my coping mechanisms kicking in because I am a big ole mess emotionally. 🩷 It took me foreverr to edit this because it’s bringing up so many emotions from chemo that I need to process, and it’s for me hard to watch… and gets me all in my medically induced menopause feelings , which are so intense and extreme. I’m truly so tempted to just sweep all of these feelings under the rug and pretend it’s not happening 🩷 But I’m pushing myself to share because I know God has a plan here. Let’s say even one person sees this and decides to do their monthly self-exam, or feels less alone in their own hard season, then I did my job. Posting this isn’t even really about me, it’s about Him using me to help save others… both their b00bies and their forever life in heaven. 🙏🏼🩷

Soooo if you are in a hard season, I hope you can take one thing away from me: my coping strategy: worship and prayer. 🙏🏼 Even if you just try it!!! And I’m not preaching from a high horse, I learned everything the hard way, so I’m just trying to save you some time. I love you so much 🩷

(Oh and yes… gummies. I take those now. Praise the Lord for them. The fact they were in my pantry this whole time?… A tragedy that I will not be ready to discuss until a later date.) self exams please 🙏🏼🩷
