In case you were wondering when I’ll be done with chemo…. well… same. I’ll let Mike explain but basically my chemotherapy regimen (TCHP) was extremely hard on me and how was I supposed to know?! I knew chemo would make me more sick than I ever have been in my life so some days I just thought I was being weak. Anyway, I’m alive!!! I am fine!! the bad news is being changed from TCHP (Taxotere, Carboplatin, Herceptin and Perjeta to rotating T (taxol) one week and HP 3 weeks later) stretches my chemotherapy treatment out. I didn’t want to announce it at first because I was down about it. But I am believing I will have a better quality of life and it will suck for just a tiny bit longer BUT this will be better for my body in the long run. So it’s probably a blessing in disguise (it always is right?!) but I can’t imagine the look on my face when they told me I would be doing the chemo a little “longer” 🥹
