Simmer pots are a great alternative to potpourri and candles and/or if you are sensitive to candle scents and you can pretty much use anything you have on hand. ⁣

In my simmer pot—⁣
1 orange, sliced⁣
1 apple, sliced⁣
2-3 cinnamon sticks⁣
2 tb cloves⁣
3-4 star anise⁣
2 tsp ground ginger ⁣
⁣
Bring a pot of water to a boil and add all of the ingredients listed above. Stir, then reduce heat to low and let the pot simmer for the next few hours. When the water runs low, you can just add water as needed. Enjoy!u⁣
