Follow @kalejunkie for more!MEAL PREP BAKED PENNE WITH MEATBALLS 🤌🏼 You guys, this recipe is SO GOOD! The dry pasta cooks in the liquid and transforms into a creamy, delicious sauce! I am using my fav @zwilling_usa Fresh & Save glass containers to show you that you can cook FULL MEALS in these amazing glass containers and have lunch or dinner for a few days! The handheld vacuum pump is the secret to keeping your food fresher, longer! These containers are microwave, dishwasher, freezer and oven safe (with the lid off) so you can cook right in them!⁣

Makes 4 servings⁣
12 oz penne of choice ⁣
1 28-ounce can crushed fire roasted tomatoes⁣
3 cups non-dairy milk of choice⁣
1/4 cup olive oil ⁣
3 cloves garlic, mashed⁣
1 tsp garlic powder⁣
1 tsp onion powder⁣
2 tsp Italian seasoning ⁣
2 tsp kosher salt⁣
12 cooked or uncooked meatballs, cooked shredded chicken, or other protein of choice⁣
1/2 cup parmigiano reggiano cheese, finely grated ⁣

Equipment:⁣
EITHER 9x13 baking dish or 4 glass meal prep containers⁣
⁣
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl or a 9x13 baking dish, mix all of the baked penne ingredients (except meatballs and the Parmesan cheese). If using meal prep containers, divide mixture among 4 containers. Add meatballs. Bake for 35-40 minutes then broil 3-4 min more to brown. Remove from oven and give everything a stir. Add Parmesan on top. Enjoy!⁣
