Follow @kalejunkie for more! 🍫🥛2-MINUTE CHOCOLATE CASHEW MILK is one of the things you need to make immediately so you can stop buying overpriced, store-bought nut milks that are often packed with fillers and very little nuts! It is so much more affordable and fresher to make it yourself at home, and what I love about using cashews (unlike almonds) is that you do not need to strain it, which means that making it yourself is really QUICK, too! There are so many different ways to make cashew milk, but this is what’s I’ve found to be the perfect combination of ingredients to make it nice and creamy—I especially love the chocolate version for coffee drinks, SMOOTHIES, cereal, and even straight from the container. You can store this in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, just be sure to give it a good shake — separation is normal bc there are no fillers :)⁣

Recipe makes 2 liters⁣
1.5 cups raw cashews (soaking overnight is optional, I don’t bother)⁣
1/3 cup maple syrup⁣
3 tsp vanilla extract⁣
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder⁣
1/4 cup maca powder (optional but I love the taste for an extra malty flavor!!!)⁣
6 cups cold water⁣
1/2 tsp sea salt⁣
⁣
Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend for 2 minutes until the liquid is completely smooth (no chunks of cashews). Transfer to jars, cover and store in the refrigerator for up to one week. ⁣
