Follow @kalejunkie for more! This HOMEMADE ICED PEPPERMINT MOCHA is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit! It is super easy to make—simply add all of the ingredients to a blender, pour milk on top, and enjoy. I topped mine with a piece of homemade peppermint bark—recipe a few posts back! You can also make this a HOT drink if you prefer, by adding all of the ingredients to a small pot on the stove, over medium heat. Whisk until ingredients are combined and drink is hot. ⁣s/o to my girl @larasalamone for sharing these cups!

Makes 1 drink⁣
3/4 cup strong coffee (or 2 shots of espresso)⁣
1 tb cocoa powder⁣
1/4 tsp peppermint extract (or 1/2 tsp for more peppermint flavor)⁣
1 tsp vanilla extract⁣
1 tb maple syrup⁣
1/2 cup dairy-free milk of choice (I used @malkorganics)⁣
Handful ice cubes⁣

In a blender, add all ingredients except the milk and blend for 20-30 seconds. Pour over ice cubes, froth the milk, and enjoy! If you don’t want to froth the milk, simply add all ingredients to the blender, blend and pour over ice. ⁣
