Follow @kalejunkie for more holiday recipes! EASY PECAN PIE BROWNIE CUPS, using the best baking hack—use boxed brownie mix to make your life easier and save time. Essentially you take ANY brownie mix, make the batter according to box instructions, then bake *halfway*, add pecan pie topping, and bake again. The result? The pecan toppings soaks into the brownie, for a delicious holiday treat. It’s like a brownie and pecan pie had a baby. You can also make these in a mini muffin tin, for little bite size treats! 12 servings (12 brownie cups)⁣
BROWNIES LAYER⁣
1 box brownie mix (+ ingredients)⁣
⁣
PECAN PIE LAYER⁣
2 cups pecans, chopped⁣
1/4 cup coconut sugar⁣
3 tb maple syrup⁣
2 tb butter⁣
2 tsp vanilla extract⁣
Flaky salt to top ⁣
⁣
Preheat oven to 350F. Add brownie mix to a large bowl, along with ingredients needed to make the brownies (oil, water, etc.). Line a muffin tin with liners. Divide brownie batter evenly among the 12 muffin cavities. Bake for half of the time stated on the box (I always go with 15 minutes). While the brownies are in the oven, mix together the pecan pie ingredients. Pull the brownie cups out of the oven, top with pecan pie layer. Place the muffin tray back in the oven for 15 more minutes. Let cool completely, then remove them from the muffin pan and ENJOY!!! ⁣
