HOMEMADE PUMPKIN BUTTER!!! Every year I look forward to the day when I see pumpkin butter at Trader Joe’s, but my version is better—it uses honey instead of cane sugar for a slightly different (more delicious) taste! If you’ve never had pumpkin butter before, it’s not butter! It is just a pumpkin spread that you can add to toast, your oatmeal bowls, ice cream, or even your coffee—IT IS SO SO SO GOOD! The best part? You need only 5 simple ingredients to make it, and it’s the perfect way to use up any opened jars of pumpkin that you’ve accumulated so far :) The recipe is below but if you want the full, downloadable recipe with serving suggestions sent straight to your DM, comment ‘recipe’ or ‘RECIPE’. ⁣ Makes 4 servings 1 cup pumpkin purée⁣ 1/4 cup honey⁣ 1/2 lemon, juiced⁣ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice⁣ ⁣ Add all of the ingredients to a pan over low heat. Stir for about 4-5 minutes, until the color changes from bright orange to a light brown. Remove pan from heat. Let cool, and enjoy on toast or however you like it!
