I saw lemon popcorn floating around the ‘gram, but the addition of freshly grated parmesan cheese takes this snack to the next level. It’s tangy and so delicious! And you can very easily and quickly make popcorn on the stovetop—no microwave needed!⁣

METHOD: add oil to a pot over medium-high heat. Add 4-5 kernels and leave them undisturbed. Once they pop, you know the oil is hot enough. Add remaining kernels in a single layer. Cover. Remove from the burner, count to 30, then place the pot back on the burner and let pop until you no longer heat kernels popping. This should take about 2 minutes. Remove cover, toss and enjoy!⁣

LEMON PARMESAN POPCORN⁣
1/4 cup olive oil⁣
1 lemon, zested and juiced⁣
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated⁣
Salt⁣
⁣
In a large bowl, add the lemon zest and parmesan cheese. Once the popcorn has finished popping, add it to the bowl. Toss to coat well. Pour lemon juice on top and sprinkle with salt. Toss again to coat and enjoy immediately. ⁣
