It’s basically a stuffed individual pizza thats ooey and gooey inside—it’s SO GOOD and totally worth making. You can get creative with the toppings and make them your own. ⁣

Makes 2 pizza lava toasts⁣
4 slices bread of choice (I’m using @daveskillerbread white)⁣
6 oz cheddar cheese (I’m using @kerrygoldusa)⁣
1/2 cup pizza sauce ⁣
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese⁣
2 tsp italian seasoning⁣
pepperoni for topping⁣
⁣
Preheat oven to 375F. Lay out two slices of the bread on a parchment lined baking sheet. Add cheddar cheese slices as shown, keeping middle empty. Add a second slice of bread on top. Gently press down the middle of the bread, creating a well. Now scoop some pizza sauce into the well. Cover the top with shredded mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, and the pepperoni. Place the tray in the oven until the cheese is nice and melty, about 8 minutes or so. Remove from the oven and enjoy. ⁣
