Follow @kalejunkie for more! Let’s make a STRAWBERRY ICED LATTE, it’s 100% what mom wants for Mother’s Day 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️! To make it, I am using the Las Hermanas blend from @peetscoffee, a medium roast blend with flavor notes of milk chocolate and it’s super creamy and delicious, perfect for this drink! This blend also happens to be Fair Trade certified and women-grown, so the next time you pop into Peet’s or place an online order, grab this blend! ⁣

Strawberry syrup (makes 1 cup)⁣
1 cup strawberries, halved (you can also use frozen)⁣
½ cup monk fruit for a sugar-free option (or white sugar)⁣
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)⁣
½ cup water⁣
⁣
Latte⁣
½ cup @peets coffee (or 2 shots @peetscoffee espresso), cooled⁣
1 cup milk of choice⁣
2 tb strawberry syrup⁣
1 handful ice cubes⁣
⁣
In a small pot on the stove, add the strawberries, monkfruit/sugar, vanilla and water, over medium/medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, until a syrup begins to form. Note: if using the monk fruit, it will be more liquidy, but that is OKAY!!!! Strain the strawberry pieces out of the syrup and store the syrup in the refrigerator until ready to use. To build your latte, add ice cubes to a glass, followed by the strawberry syrup, milk, and cooled coffee/espresso, and top off with more milk. Stir and enjoy!!!⁣
