Follow @kalejunkie for more! VIRAL SMASH TACOS, they are SO good and easy to prepare. I’ll probably never eat a taco any other way again! Inspired by @chilesandsmoke & my friend @erekav. Here’s how to make it—⁣

Makes 2 tacos⁣
1/2 cup ground beef, chicken or turkey⁣
1/4 tsp garlic powder⁣
1/2 tsp cumin⁣
1/2 tsp paprika⁣
1/2 tsp salt⁣
1/2 tsp pepper⁣
3 tb chopped onion⁣
1/2 cup shredded mexican blend cheese (or cheddar)⁣
Two flour tortillas⁣
Garnishes of choice: lettuce, guac, and salsa⁣
⁣
In a bowl, add the meat and seasonings and mix together well. Form two round balls. Press one ball onto each tortilla and press down flat. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the tortilla with the meat side face down. Place a heavy object on top—I’m using another pot—cook for about 3-4 minutes then gently flip to the other side and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a plate, add toppings and enjoy!⁣
