THE PANTRY REVEAL—and tips for how you can begin organizing yours! I had @havenhomeorganize at my house this week, going through my entire kitchen, to get me organized. We started with the pantry—which, as you can see, was completely disorganized, making it really hard to find ingredients when I need them. And when I can’t find things, I end up buying more, which means I’ve been wasting $$ too. 

Here is what we did and how you can begin organizing yours too!
1. Empty your pantry. Remove everything from your pantry, give it a nice wipe down. You’ll be amazed at what you find lurking on those shelves.
2. Look at expiration dates and toss anything that’s expired. This will free up space in your pantry and help things stay organized longer.
3. Take inventory of what you have. Once you see what you have left, begin categorizing things and place like items together. For example, place all flours in one pile, place all nut butters in another pile, and so forth.
4. Purchase clear bins or clear containers and add the categorized items. Clear bins will help you see what you have a lot easier. You can also decant items that you use a lot, but for my lifestyle, I find it easiest just to place items in their original packaging in bins.
5. Label the bins and containers so everyone in your house knows where things are and so that things don’t get disorganized again.
6. Add your labeled bins back to your pantry, with everything you use most often at eye level, and anything you lose less often, placed high above or on the bottom.
