TRADER JOE’S CHILI ONION CRUNCH, follow @kalejunkie for more recipes like this! Many of you commented on my Trader Joe’s haul the other day and said I forgot the chili onion crunch, but I didn’t—this is one of the things that I prefer to make myself bc it’s so easy and we go through it quickly. ⁣
⁣
How I use it (possibilities are ENDLESS!)—⁣
As a topping on eggs (my favorite)⁣
On cucumber slices with cream cheese⁣
On roasted veggies⁣
On toast⁣
On sandwiches⁣
Mixed into hummus (don’t knock it will you try it!)⁣
⁣
Makes 1 cup⁣
1/4 cup minced onion⁣
1/4 cup minced garlic⁣
1 tb smoked paprika⁣
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tb crushed red pepper flakes ⁣
1/2 tsp chili powder⁣
3/4 cup olive oil (preferred for best taste!)⁣
⁣
Mix together and store in a covered jar in the pantry. I don’t store it in the refrigerator bc the oil will get solid, so a cool, dark spot in the pantry is always best. This will stay fresh for up to 2 months, but mine never lasts more than 2 weeks bc we go through it quickly!⁣
