I got this question after I shared the grapes video—so I’m sharing the method I use to remove dirt and almost all of the wax from apples, both conventional and organic—it works perfectly every time, leaving you with clean apples! Add apples to a bowl, along with 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons baking soda, and 4 cups water. Gently toss to coat, scrub really well with a brush or a sponge, and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse and enjoy!
