This recipe is most definitely one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and it is perfect for Valentine’s Day or any time you want just ONE cinnamon roll that tastes just like it came from Cinnabon! And, you can make it vegan!⁣
⁣
Cinnamon roll:⁣
1/2 banana, mashed very well, like a puree ⁣
2 tb yogurt of choice⁣ (regular or vegan)
1/2 cup self-rising flour⁣
2 tb freeze dried strawberries, blended into powder⁣
⁣
Filling:⁣
1 tb butter (or vegan butter), melted⁣
1 tb brown sugar (or coconut sugar)⁣
1/2 tsp cinnamon⁣
⁣
Icing:⁣
1/4 cup powdered sugar⁣
1 tb freeze fried strawberries, blended into powder⁣
1 tsp water ⁣
⁣
In a bowl, mash the banana very well, to a puree. Then add the yogurt, flour, and strawberry powder. The dough will be sticky. Add more flour until a ball forms, then transfer it to a floured surface. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough—be gentle with it. Make the filling and add it to the dough. Cut the dough into two strips, and then roll each strip, as shown in video. Transfer to a greased ramekin or mug and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. To make the icing, add all ingredients to a bowl, mix until there are no clumps, pour on top and enjoy!⁣
