HOMEMADE APPLE BUTTER 🍎 This one was requested, so I thought I would show you how I make apple butter in the instant pot. Apple butter is NOT butter; it is a much more concentrated version of apple sauce that you can use as a spread on toast, oatmeal, in your yogurt bowls, or even in your smoothies. And it makes your house smell SO GOOD!⁣

Note: you can also do it on the stove top or the slow cooker, but it takes longer. The easiest way is in the instant pot :)⁣

6 large apples (I like Fuji), about 4 pounds, peeled and chopped⁣
1/2 cup coconut sugar⁣
1/4 tsp ground cloves⁣
1/2 tsp nutmeg⁣
1 tb cinnamon⁣
1 tb vanilla extract⁣
1/4 cup water⁣
⁣
Add all ingredients to your instant pot. Cover and close the valve. Cook on manual for 30 minutes. Allow a natural release of the steam. Blend using an immersion blender (shown in this video), or just transfer to a blender and blend until smooth. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. ⁣
