JUMBO PEANUT BUTTER DARK CHOCOLATE RICE CRISPY TREATS 🍫 The treat you didn’t know you needed in your life, but you DO. Because sometimes nostalgia and classic childhood treats win. Go make them. Life is about balance.⁣
⁣
¼ cup unsalted butter (or vegan butter)⁣
1 10 oz bag mini marshmallows⁣
2/3 cup peanut butter⁣
1 tsp vanilla extract⁣
6 cups Rice Krispie cereal (or similar)⁣
1 1/4 cups chocolate chips⁣
1 teaspoons coconut oil⁣
1/2 cup roasted, salted peanuts, chopped⁣
⁣
Melt butter, along with marshmallows, creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract. Once its smooth remove it from the heat, add the rice crispy cereal and stir. Transfer to an 8 x 8 baking dish, and use a spatula to press down and make sure it’s packed in tightly and smooth on top. Next add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small bowl and melt in the microwave in 2 to 3, 30-second increments, stirring until its smooth and melted. Pour chocolate on top, then add crushed peanuts and refrigerate for two hours. Cut into squares and enjoy!⁣
