HOW TO CHOP A CABBAGE! 😉 Follow @kalejunkie for more tips and recipes. This question was asked, so I thought I would share my method for chopping a cabbage, because it is a PITA! This method makes it a breeze and easier to chop finely by hand, or using a mandolin. 

Cut the cabbage in half along the stem/core (as shown in the video). Then cut again into quarters. Take your knife and run it along each side of the stem/core. Pull it out. Repeat with the rest of the cabbage. Now it’s ready to chop by hand, or even finer using a mandolin.
