Summertime is ALL about the corn, so here are 5 tips to help you along the way—take what you like, leave the rest!⁣
⁣
1. How to quickly and easily cut corn off the cob—use a bundt pan! I like doing this when I need to cut multiple cobs for a recipe, because the pan collects all the kernels instead of making a big mess everywhere.⁣
2. How to evenly and easily butter your corn—use a slice of buttered bread. Place the corn on top of the bread and fold the bread around it like a taco, then twist until the corn is evenly buttered. Then eat the buttered bread for a no waste option!⁣
3. Butter the corn using the boiling method! Boil corn and then add butter to the pot. The butter will melt and coat the corn with a light layer of butter.⁣
4. Make skewer handles for easy grilling without tongs. Add skewers to the end of your corn to make them easy to rotate and flip. If using wooden/bamboo sticks, just make sure to soak them in warm water for at least 30 minutes so they don’t burn.⁣
5. Make mess-free corn in the microwave! Place an ear of corn in the microwave (husk and all!) and cook for 4 minutes. Let cool, then peel the husk and the silks will slice right off too. ⁣
