This year’s “Creating the Dream” ceremony honored senior Arantxa Melendez, president of the Caribbean Student Network; Marissa Pierre, assistant director, Student Leadership & Involvement; and members of the Black Law Students Association. 

The keynote address was delivered by someone dedicated to advancing Dr. King’s dream: Imari Paris Jeffries, president and CEO of embracebos, the nonprofit responsible for the majestic memorial sculpture on Boston Common honoring Dr. King and his wife, Coretta Scott King. In the evening, students and others walked to The Embrace for a candle-light vigil.
