🏡 Monica Roberts Place, a housing program of Sisters PGH, is transforming what safe, stable, and affirming housing looks like for Black and Brown transgender adults in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County—one tenant at a time.

We’re excited to share that a few final units are still available. Most units have already been occupied, and we’re proud to welcome our new tenants home.

Monica Roberts Place is more than a shelter—and a step beyond traditional transitional housing. Residents live in private, one-bedroom apartments, not shared spaces, with the full independence of having their own home and the structured support needed to thrive. This model provides the stability our community deserves, while guiding tenants toward long-term financial independence and homeownership.

✅ Behavioral health services and case management are already active and available to all tenants.
📚 Financial literacy and homeownership workshops begin this fall, creating a direct pathway for residents to build savings, credit, and ownership readiness.

📣 If you’re a service provider, advocate, or community leader, you can utilize Sisters PGH as a referral source. If you come across a Black or Brown trans adult in need of housing in your work, please consider referring them to Monica Roberts Place.
