## Caption

This is one of those dishes that you would swear takes forever to get on the table but in reality it can be put together in a flash.  The tortellini, silky sauce, and seafood is special enough to serve for Company, but easy enough to go in your mid week rotation

Shrimp and Tortellini with Lemon Cream Sauce

9oz package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1 1b large shrimp, peeled and deveined and tossed with 1/2 tsp each of salt, smoked paprika, oregano, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix well to combine and set aside. 
2 tbls olive oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped 
Pinch chili flakes 
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Juice and zest of one lemon 
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning 
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup parsley, chopped 

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil 
Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
To the same skillet, add the minced garlic and chili flake and cook for about 1 minute until aromatic.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth and stir to combine.
Add the Parmesan, lemon zest, lemon juice and Italian seasoning.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and simmer  for 5 minutes. 
 Add the cooked tortellini and shrimp back into the skillet with the sauce and toss everything together. Stir in the parsley and check for seasoning.
