For Marlon Boyd, the advisors and counselors in the Exploratory Studies program helped him grow at NC State as a first-generation college student. And it was the communities he found in Alpha Kappa Psi, the Black Male Initiative and @NCStatePoole that gave him the support and resources to intern with @SASSoftware — landing him a full-time job post-graduation.

This weekend, Marlon celebrated joining #NCState22 with 20-plus members of his family at the fall commencement ceremony. 👏
