Bangkok’s newest mall has opened and of course I was straight in to check it out 👀 It’s giving a Wes Anderson vibe isn’t it?

It’s in my favourite part of Bangkok (Silom, where we used to live 🫶🏻), and it’s looking out over my favourite Park (Lumphini - a gorgeous place to bring a book and chill for the afternoon away from the chaos of the city!)

I don’t really post about the Bangkok malls a lot, there’s a million things to post about in this city, and usually malls are just a place we go for aircon - but not this one! I was sold by the location, then by those pink escalators, then by the food and finally by the fact that it’s a really sustainable project 🫶🏻

Here’s some details to know if you want to go: 
• You can take the MRT or BTS trains to Saladaeng station to get to the mall. It’s really conveniently located for public transport! 
• There are 3 floors dedicated to food 🍰: a food court in the basement, boujee restaurants and patisseries on the ground floor, and more places to eat on the top floor. Every dessert imaginable & lots of Thai food, including places in the Michelin guide! 
• There’s a huge 11,700m² multi story garden on the top floor, with lots of seating and viewpoints over the city. The views over Lumphini park are incredible!
• In terms of shops, it’s got a lot of Asian brands, along with high street, designer & beauty (there’s a Sephora here!). It’s got a mix of everything but it’s not too posh, the brands and stores are more reasonable than luxury malls like Siam Paragon. 
• The architecture is stunning - it’s really cool to wander around with your camera. You don’t need to want to shop, you can pop in for a bite and look around. 
• Come early morning or around sunset for cooler temps in the gardens & good views.
