Big money has been donated to 9 HBCUs recently . Since the making of this video, Voorhees University announced today, that they just received a $19 million donation from MacKenzie Scott. This brings the total number of HBCUs to that have recently received donations from Scott to 9, along with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), which received funds to go towards their member HBCU institutions.
