📢 The government shutdown is almost over, but let’s be clear, for people returning home after #incarceration, the real challenges didn’t go anywhere.

At CCT, a shutdown isn’t just about politics — it’s about people.

 When the government hits pause, so do:
 🚫 Grant approvals
 🚫 Program coordination
 🚫 Critical reentry services that help people get back on their feet

The impact? Delays in housing, job support, treatment referrals, and family reunification for individuals already navigating one of the hardest transitions of their lives.

As we anticipate government operations to resume soon, we can:
 ✅ Get federal reentry funding flowing again
 ✅ Resume essential referrals and services
 ✅ Reconnect people with the support they deserve

But here’s the truth ⬇️
 ⚠️ Ending the shutdown doesn’t end systemic barriers.
 ⚠️ It doesn’t erase stigma, discrimination, or underfunded #nonprofits.
