☕️ It’s Christmas at the Cottage. We have been decorating for the past couple of days, and to go with it, I had to make us warm gingerbread hot chocolate topped with toasted meringue and gingerbread cookies.

🧸 Here’s what you need to try this at home:

Ingredients:
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
6 to 8 cups of milk
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp ground ginger
1/8 to 1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 to 1/4 tsp clove

Meringue:
2 large egg whites
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp vanilla paste
