## Caption

We like to keep a variety of fresh prints around for our viewers to pick up when they stop by the Sacramento History Museum. This one press run was done to have prints ready for our Kids’ Day event happening today, November 9th, until 2pm.

In this press run, Jared letterpress printed an image from a modern photo engraving based on a lithograph of Sacramento’s Waterworks building from 1857. Our museum is housed in a reconstruction of that building, which was originally built at the corner of I and Front Streets in 1854. This was printed using a 4x6 Golding Official No. 2 tabletop printing press. Fifty prints were printed on this press run using PMS 7533c rubber base ink.
