There may be no professional games of this sport played today but November 5th is American Football Day! This day honors the beloved sport and is observed during the midway point of the NFL season.

For today, Howard letterpress printed a small electrotype (copy of a woodcut) of a football player. This electrotype is from the Bill Gaylord Collection and was made in the 1940s. This was printed with red oil base ink using our Washington hand press.
