With more than 20 years at Holland Bloorview LisaKakonge has built a career grounded in compassion, innovation and teamwork. After starting as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team (BIRT), she stepped into the role of Collaborative Practice Leader in November 2024, where she supports multiple teams including speech-language pathologists and communicative disorders assistants. 

What inspires Lisa to work with us? “My journey… has been filled with opportunities for personal and professional growth. I love working with clients and families… while collaborating with amazing colleagues to deliver interprofessional care and innovative therapy programs.”
