When you stay in the Backer Suite, you really feel the history around you. The Backer family painted the ceiling with angels looking down, a little glimpse into the art world of Rembrandt’s time. With the Herengracht canal  just outside your window and rich décor inside, it’s indulgence with a story to tell.
