🪖 This Veterans Day, we remember the camoufleurs — artists who turned creativity into protection. During World War I, painters and sculptors used their understanding of color, shape, and shadow to create camouflage, concealing troops and equipment on the battlefield. The camouflage they pioneered became the foundation for techniques of concealment and deception that still help our forces survive and succeed.
