resharkorg recently released a 50th Leopard Shark pup into the waters of Raja Ampat, Indonesia, marking a remarkable achievement for the StAR Project - the world’s first threatened shark rewilding program

This latest release — featuring pups #49 Sheila, #50 Sunny, and #51 Spotty Dotty — marks a huge leap forward in restoring this species to its native waters and rebuilding a self-sustaining wild population.

This achievement reflects five years of dedication, cutting-edge research, and ReShark’s collaborative efforts to restore depleted populations of Indo-Pacific Leopard Sharks. rewild is proud to support ReShark and its aim to recover threatened sharks and rays.
